Throwing Sessions - 2x/week :

  • Mechanical Development
    • Focused on refining mechanics through video analysis and individualized corrective drills.
      • Each pitcher has unique physical characteristics, strengths and weaknesses.
      • Correctives should target the underlying issues causing mechanical problems, not just the symptoms.
      • By tailoring exercises and drills to specific needs, pitchers can improve their mechanics more efficiently and effectively, leading to higher velocity and better performance.
    • Incorporates pre- and post-throwing arm care routines.
  • Technological Analysis:
    • Utilizes Rapsodo, Pitch Logic, and SensorEdge to gather data on pitch velocity, movement, and release mechanics.
    • Provides valuable insights for making adjustments and optimizing performance.
  • Pitch Design:
    • Works on developing a variety of pitches with effective movement and command.
    • Focuses on understanding pitch tendencies and count situations.
